Death at a Funeral opening in limited release in the US

Thank you happy4u for this information.  Boxofficemojo says Death at a Funeral will open in 250 theaters on August 17.  Hopefully, there will a general release of the movie shortly there after.  It has now won several audience awards both in the US and Internationally.

Death at a Funeral wins Prix du Public at Locarno

The Prix du Public went to Death at a Funeral, a British black comedy by British-born director Frank Oz, also the voice of Miss Piggy and Yoda.

This could be one to look out for, judging the Locarno public's past form: last year they gave the prize to Stasi drama Das Leben der Anderen (The Life of Others), which went on to win the Best Foreign Film at the Oscars.
