Julia had the following to say about Matthew Macfadyen: “tremendously attractive”.

Also, the end of the article has the following statement: Marple begins on Sunday, September 6 at 8.00pm on ITV1

The ITV.com website does not confirm the date and time, however, the Press Pack should hopefull confirm the date on 26 August.

ITV's Autumn '09 Season Highlights

ITV has a clip of Autumn 09 Season's hightlights, with a short bit with Julia McKenzie as the new Miss Marple.  Unfortunately, no Matthew Macfadyen images, nor clips from A Pocket Full of Rye were shown. A Pocket Full of Rye should be shown this autumn on ITV.

Tentative release date for Miss Marple 4 disk DVD set in the UK

According to Amazon UK, the 4 disk dvd set for Miss Marple with Julia McKenzie may be released in the UK on 7 September, 2009.  It still hasn't been released on ITV for television viewing, although some reports suggest it might be shown later this summer.
