Darcy Bust Returns to Chatsworth

Previously, I had reported that Mr Darcy's Bust had been removed from display at Chatsworth.  Splatt and all of the people who signed her petition to bring back the Mr Darcy bust were successful! The Bust is now on display in the Orangery which houses the Chatsworth gift shop. When you take a tour of the house, this is where you end it immediately after the sculpture gallery. He now stands within the Jane Austen section of the shop!

In the words of Splatt: "Thank you SO much, everyone, for taking part, spreading the word and getting other people to sign, and well done to us for what we achieved!"

Bring Back the Mr. Darcy Bust to Chatsworth

Many of you may remember the bust of Mr Darcy from Pride and Prejudice.  Many of you may also be aware it had been on display at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire for many years, but now, visitors to Chatsworth, no longer can find the bust.  It has been removed and will no longer see the light of day, unless there is sufficient demand.

If you would like to see the bust return to Chatsworth House, please sign this petition.  If we get enough signatures, hopefully, it will return.

Entertainment Weekly has a list of 20 movie endings we just love.  Pride and Prejudice was among the list.

Deluxe edition and HD DVD Editions of Pride and Prejudice

According to DVD Times, Pride and Prejudice is to be released in both a Deluxe 2 disc edition as well as HD DVD edition to come out on November 13, 2007 for both versions.
