Although, Matthew Macfadyen wasn't nominated for an award as he is not Irish, Middletown has been nominated for 9 awards. On february 9, we find out what the film has won.

Minor Chicago Irish Film Festival Update on Middletown

Tomaholic has now received a reply from the coordinator of the Chicago Film Festival. Apparently she does not yet know if Matthew Macfadyen will attend. The festival organizers have contacted Matthew's agent and the decision has not yet been made (or at least formalized!).

Another Middletown actor has agreed to be there, though! We do not know who.

Middletown: release update

The UK Film council have changed their general release date again for Middletown.

"MIDDLETOWN (CERT: 15)
Distributed by VERVE PICTURES
Release date: February 28, 2007"

Last month they had it as 31st Jan. Verve Pictures have no more information either. Amazon still have the DVD as being available from March.
